RECREATIONAL DANCE PROGRAMS & WORKSHOPS

WHAT IS IT?
A Recreational Dance Program can consist of all or any of a combination of: Circle Mixers, traditional "Hoe-down" Square Dances, Contras, simple old world Folk Dances, Line Dances, Polka, Waltz, Schottische, Swing and more.

WHO DOES RECREATIONAL DANCING?
Dances can be for Church groups, 4-H Camps, School Physical Education Classes, Parties, Receptions, Family camps, Scouting Events, Outdoor Education Programs, State and National meetings as get acquainted mixers, After School Programs, Artist-In-Residence Programs, Senior Centers, etc.

WHAT ARE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
Programs are for all ages of participants, from grade school students to Senior populations, to church families, college groups, high school groups, or Jr. camps. Dance programs will be designed for your group.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL DANCE LAST?
Most dance programs last from two to three hours. This depends on available time, age factors, endurance factors, etc.

BUT I'VE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE...
IS IT DIFFICULT?

My philosophy about Recreational Dancing is: If it takes longer to learn the dance than it takes to dance the dance it is too difficult for the audience.
